Poland is preparing a new international initiative – a games event dedicated to game development students and their creative projects. The Student Game Festival aims to highlight student creativity, encourage collaboration between education and the gaming industry, and promote games as works of culture and art.
The festival is organised by the recently established Interactive Culture Foundation and supported by numerous local and international organisations, including 11 bit studios. The festival invites students to submit their work to the Best Student Game Awards competition. Selected team representatives will be invited to the event, which will take place on October 18 in Warsaw, and all travel expenses will be covered.
