In its fifth year Reboot Develop 2018 game developers and games industry conference fortifies its position as the landmark worldwide games industry event. Between the 19th and 21st of April the historical Croatian city of Dubrovnik will be the key gathering spot for the best of what the international games industry has to offer.
With more than 1500 attendees from over 600 companies Reboot Develop offers up an intriguing mix of big established game development studios as well as over 100 indie studios, countless representatives of investors and publishers, key tech companies from the games industry, politicians and trade associations. They will be greeted by a high-profile speaker lineup including industry veterans Hideki Kamiya (Game Designer / Director, PlatinumGames), Nina Kristensen (Co-Founder / CEO, Ninja Theory) and Tim Schafer (CEO / Creative Director, Double Fine). Together with great networking and business opportunities as well as a beautiful location and venue this creates one of the most inspiring, yet relaxed atmospheres of any games industry event out there.
The team has successfully build upon these core values ever since the first iteration of Reboot Develop. From humble beginnings it has become the most important annual European event for games industry actors to attend. Art, business and politics are all made at this conference. Prominently the European Games Developer Federation (EGDF) is hosting its Spring General Assembly there using this opportunity to directly engage with the community as a whole. Many other associations will be present as well and help to ensure that the needs of developers will be heard across Europe.
